According to The Straits Times, Egypt has decided to shut its doors to the superstar after her recent visit to Israel. Despite a peace agreement in 1978, political relations between Egypt and Israel are strained and the Egyptian Parliament has issued an order to the government demanding that Madonna be denied entry into the country. Egyptian embassies abroad were also reportedly contacted and told not to allow Madonna a visa.
